Bespoke Furniture & Architectural Commissions

Designed and crafted for Residences, Hospitality and Extraordinary Spaces

Furniture with a Point of  View

Mesa & Maple is a furniture design and fabrication studio creating bespoke furniture, sculptural objects and architectural woodwork.

From one-of-one dining tables, credenzas, integrated built-ins and site-specific installations, each piece is developed around its material, purpose, and place.

Custom Commissions

Some pieces cannot be found and must be created. We design and build high-end handcrafted furniture around the architecture, dimensions, function and character of your space.

We guide the project from initial concept through design, visualization, fabrication and installation.

Bespoke Dining Tables

Our bespoke dining tables are developed around the room they inhabit from proportion and seating requirement to wood selection, grain base design and architectural context.

Origen Collection

Origen is Mesa & Maple's collection of original furniture. Influenced by the landscapes, architecture and material traditions of Mexico, the collection explores substantial forms, sculptural surfaces, organic transitions and the expressive character of natural wood.

See It Before We Build It.

Custom furniture requires imagination while avoiding guesswork as much as possible. Our design allows proportion, materials and details to be developed before fabrication begins.

For Designers & Architects

We collaborate with interior designers, architects, builders and hospitality professionals on custom furniture and architectural elements. We provide design development, custom sizing, material and finish coordination, 3D visualization, fabrication and project support.

Crafted in Solid Wood

Grain, figure, color, texture, and natural variation influence the composition of every piece. Material is selected and oriented deliberately so that its individual character becomes part of the finished design. The result cannot be reproduced exactly and that is precisely the point.
